We are thrilled to announce that David J. Kappos, a globally renowned leader in intellectual property, has joined Piece Future’s Board of Advisors.
With over 30 years of experience in intellectual property strategy, management, and policy, David brings unparalleled expertise to our team. He has held pivotal roles throughout his distinguished career, including serving as Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). During his tenure, he spearheaded the modernisation of the U.S. patent system and played a key role in the passage of the landmark America Invents Act. Prior to his time at USPTO, David served as Chief IP Counsel at IBM, where he directed the company's strategies in patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Today, he continues to lead in the field as a Partner at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP where he also serves as Co-Chair of their Intellectual Property Practice.
David’s achievements have been widely recognized. He is a member of the Intellectual Property Hall of Fame and was named one of the 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America.
